Peluang Kerja The World Bank Group is one of the largest sources of funding and knowledge for development. As part of its ongoing efforts to support good governance in Indonesia, the World Bank Jakarta requires the services of an Operations Officer for the Governance and Anti Corruption (GAC) team. (S)he will be working as part of Operational Services Unit (OSU) and part of a small team that focuses on supporting the country office's engagement in the field of governance.



Duties

OPERATIONS OFFICER, GOVERNANCE AND ANTI CORRUPTION #121645

The Operations Officer is expected to:
1. Support operational task teams within the World Bank to identifying strategic opportunities to improve governance and anti corruption (GAC) in projects.
2. Provide support to the conduct of political economy analysis, development of governance and operational lens, facilitating to identify the best engagement strategy in governance, as well as to identify macro-governance risks faced by sector and task teams. The Operations Officer will also support the Indonesia Governance and Anti Corruption (IGAC).
3. Work with accountability institutions in supporting the design and facilitation of capacity building and/or analytical work activities such as the Anti Corruption Commission (KPK), the Attorney General s Office (AGO), and the like.
4. Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with donors working in the field of governance and anti corruption, civil society organizations, NGOs, media and universities in anti corruption issues.
5. Coordinate and provide oversight to the managerial and administration work related to trust funds and bank budget to support the work and activities of the GAC team.

Selection Criteria:
- Minimum Master's degree in relevant field (communications, law, politics, urban development, social sciences, economics).
- At least five years full-time work experience in a field related to international development and or anti-corruption.
- Familiarity with and, ideally, direct experience on anti-corruption issues and programs.
- Experience with and or solid knowledge of government, civil society and the media.
- Knowledge of accounting, auditing and/or other finance-related skills would be an asset.
- Good computer skills and preferably familiarity with database management.
- Strong oral and written communications skills, in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work flexibly, as part of a team, and to work collaboratively with a range of external stakeholders.

The Operations Officer will report to the Senior Operations Officer in the Indonesia country office. This is a 2 year coterminous appointment, renewable subject to unit's need, individual performance and available resource of funds.
