Lowongan Kerja The Indonesia Resident Mission (IRM) leads the program development and management, project implementation, and economic, sector, and thematic work of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Indonesia, IRM coordinates ADB's activities with other resident diplomatic and donor missions, NGOs, academic institutions, local think tanks, and the private sector.

Description of Responsibilities
To promote awareness and understanding of ADB in Indonesia through effective public communications and media relations carried out in consultation with IRM and ADB's Department of External Relations.

Supervisor: Designated International Staff

Selection Criteria
Specific criteria include
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, development studies, economics, social sciences, or related fields, preferably with advanced training
- At least 5 years of related experience in development communications, public relations, and/or journalism
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Indonesia, especially on development issues; a proven track record of writing on development policy issues for the news media would be a significant advantage: proficiency in proofreading local language translations
- Knowledge and familiarity in communicating using multimedia and social media tools
- Proficiency in use of software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good media contacts in Indonesia
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and multicultural skills
- Able to guide Administrative Staff to facilitate work planning, delivery, and quality review
- Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English

The advertised position is a local staff position with a local remuneration package. It is open only to persons who are nationals and residents of Indonesia. The position is for a 3-year fixed term appointment. ADB offers a competitive salary and benefits package applicable to local staff. While the position advertised is for IRM, ADB staff may be required to serve in any location outside the Resident Mission at the discretion of Management
