Sales Engineer Grace Davison Materials & Packaging Technologies (Based in Cikarang)

The Job:

• To support the annual operating plans and long term strategy for Grace Davison MPT (Materials & Packaging Technologies), the incumbent will need to:
• Pursue sales growth for MPT products within the assigned customers
• Understand customers' needs to the level necessary to generate sales value
• Provide a high level of technical service and customer support excellence through: Participation in customers' product trial and evaluation activities, Building and cultivation of meaningful relationships with the customers
• Develop outstanding troubleshooting skills and the ability to recommended appropriate solution that will facilitate the use of MPT's products
• Prepare monthly reports on the results and activities of the assigned customers
• Provide insights/knowledge on market conditions and understand the competitive influences affecting the business.
• Perform such other duties which may be assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering /Material and Polymer Science/Food Technology or related technical discipline
• Preferably has 3 - 5 years working experience in chemical industry
• Possess experience in "hands-on" product application and troubleshooting activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong networking and influencing ability
• Be a solid team player with well developed cross-cultural skills
• Possess a positive attitude to the achievement of business objectives and be self confident
• Have a good command of written and spoken English
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
