The post holder will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the corporate marketing and communications strategy for the British Council Indonesia,
in line with the country plan and will provide high quality communications and marketing services to internal customers in the following areas: - Media & Communications including online and conventional media
- Community management and social networking
- Internal Communications and knowledge management
- Market Research and initial business pursuit
- Brand management
This position is offered for a fixed period of 1 year initial contract (renewable)
Key duties of this post include: • Formulating a communications strategy to achieve improved perceptions of UK and the British Council
• Guiding managers in the delivery of operational communication plans
• Developing and managing media relations and partnerships
• Expanding our digital initiatives and online engagement
• Supporting and co-ordinating business relations and
marketing efforts to secure new business partners
• Managing internal communications and the British Council brand
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
• At least three years Marketing and/or Communications experience in a senior role
• Strong sense of achievement and customer service orientation
• Experience of building and maintaining effective partnerships and generating funding
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Technical marketing and entrepreneurial skills
• Strong written and oral communications in Bahasa Indonesia and English (IELTS overall 7)
