STAFFING & TALENT MANAGEMENT MANAGER Job Purpose - To drive strategic staffing, focusing on selection of best in class talents to fill vacancies and contribute to enhancing staffing excellence initiative. Staffing Manager will also manage the on boarding of talents to help transition smoothly and faster into the organization.
- To develop employee programs that drive organizational effectiveness. This will cover but not limited to performing organizational assessments using appropriate tools to diagnose current states of organization and design appropriate interventions to address gaps in achieving desired outcomes and to ensure balanced and strategic personnel / training cost budget.
- To manage talent development initiatives of both Field Force and Office based key talents by ensuring that the Organization and Talent Review (OTR) activities are implemented, including Talking Talents Sessions.
- To ensure effective communication channels are in place to support “Speak Up” Culture.
Major accountabilities: Staffing & On-boarding - Supports line managers on appropriate recruitment tools, collaborates with selected executive search companies and use internal search capability to source top talents.
- Coordinates with C&B and hiring manager in drafting remuneration package.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws/ regulations as well as with company’s hiring policy.
- Drafts and releases communication on new hires and coordinates with various departments in facilitating office resources
- Responsible for effective staff orientation and on boarding process
- Monitor employee’s probationary contract expiration/ regularization, movement and transfers
- Monitors and tracks staffing HR KPI’s: turnover rate, time to hire
- Facilitates corporate mandated training programs (i.e. Code of Conduct, Corporate Citizenship)
Compliance - Ensure associates undergo corporate mandated trainings through completion of e-learning.
- Support HR Director in ensuring that corporate mandated guidelines are being implemented in the localCPO
- Corporate Citizenship Programs
- Drives the design and execution of corporate events in line with Corporate Citizenship such as BioCamp & Community Partnership Day.
Talent management - Strengthen the Talent management system through design and co-facilitation of PEC Level Talking Talents sessions and follow through sessions.
- EnsuresOTRsystem is in place and Line Managers are co-drivers of talent management and succession
- Provide coaching to managers on Talent Management reviews and action planning.
- Ensure that Talent management system (TMS) is utilized by managers for talent management needs and succession planning process.
Learning - Plan and coordinate the development and implementation of training programs and activities to address the behavioural and soft skills needs of associates
- Establish behavioural and learning objective for training programs
- Assess the effectiveness of provided training programs and recommend improvements in the training design and methodology
- Based on training needs assessment results, if appropriate, contact and work with external consultants to co-design and implement training and development programs
Internal Communications - Develop and implement various communication initiatives that foster employee engagements.
Qualification Requirements: - Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science or Human Resources management - Work Experience
At least 4 years experience in HR work particularly in staffing / training
- Specialized Knowledge
Knowledge in general recruitment / training processes; Proficiency in MS Office applications (word, excel and powerpoint)
- Personal Qualities
High integrity and trustworthiness, high customer orientation skills and highly results oriented, internally driven with very good interpersonal and communications skills
