Lowongan Kerja HVAC Maintenance Foreman - U.S. Embassy Jakarta

The U.S. Embassy Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of HVAC Maintenance Foreman, (FSN-84/2010) in the Facility Maintenance Unit (FMU). The incumbent holds position as supervisor of maintenance operations for all conditioning equipment at all Mission properties. S/He schedules all maintenance operations of in-house and contract employees at residential properties and housing compounds S/He also serves as supervisor of Mission Air Conditioning Maintenance efforts, including all split air conditioners, heat pumps, cooling tower 1 equipment, central Chancery Chiller Plant.

Qualifications required:

• Must have completed secondary schooling, and follow-on technical trade school training, equivalent to a Bachelor Degree level of knowledge in his/her particular trade, and minor coursework in management.
• Three (3) years experience as Journeyman Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Repairman and extensive administrative Supervisory experience.
• Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing both in English and Bahasa Indonesia including a comprehensive knowledge of technical term relating to his/her field are required.
• Must have knowledge of some local resources of materials and products, local cultures, customs and attitudes in each different region, as well as understanding of the aspects of different jobs and ability to learn how to fulfill and complete various job requirements in accordance.
• Must have basic knowledge of working appliances of varied brands and models and repair procedures for same Must have the ability to physically make repairs or maintenance on all models of NC, washers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves etc and to supervise and instruct workmen in same.
• Driving skill is required Must be in possession of valid SIM A.
