K. Monitoring and Evaluation Expert
Working closely with Bappenas (Deputi Pengembangan Regional and Deputi Otonomi Daerah), services will include:
1. Review literature, existing programs and policy in Indonesia
2. Assess management capacities in local governments and suggest improvements
3. Develop capacity development strategies for natural resource management
4. Develop guidelines on natural resource management for different resource types
5. Recommend organizational and legislation changes at national and provincial levels
Person specifications:
• Advanced university degree (52 or higher) in a relevant discipline, such as resource management. planning, fisheries, agriculture, public administration, economics or management (S1 or higher for F-K)
• At least ten years of relevant work experience (five years for F-K)
• Familiarity with national and local government structures, processes, procedures and mechanisms
• Familiarity with decentralization and regional autonomy policies and regulations, particularly those related to natural resource management
• Experience working with national and regional agencies
