Lowongan Kerja Social Development Consultant - THE WORLD BANK

The World Bank's Social Development unit in Indonesia supports Indonesia's National Program for Community Empowerment, known by its Indonesian acronym “PNPM”. The World Bank seeks to recruit a small number of highly qualified Indonesia specialists who are interested in social development and poverty reduction. Successful candidates will join a team that works on analytical and operational programs whose purposes are to promote inclusive development, support better governance, and finding new ways to bring local voices into development policy. Candidates are expected to work across a range of professional disciplines that includes sociology, anthropology, economics, finance, law, and culture.

Social Development Consultant

Selection Criteria :
• Master (S2) degree or equivalent in fields such as sociology, economics, finance, engineering , law, planning.
• Good capacity for critical thinking.
• High potential to lead and manage interdisciplinary teams
• At least three to five years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely
• Competence in spoken and written English
• Commitment to helping the poor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including national and local government officials
• Enjoys fieldwork and interested in bottom-up understandings of development.
