The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG) is an AusAID-funded project assisting Indonesia to undertake economic and financial policy reforms. Norton Rose Australia, the Managing Contractor, seeks applications from qualified Communications and Public Relations Advisers for a full-time assignment in Jakarta, Indonesia for 21 months train March 2011 to November 2012.

Consulting Opportunity for Communications and Public Relations Adviser - Jakarta

The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate:
• Extensive experience in a senior Communications or Public Relations role, preferably in public and private sector contexts.
• Experience of designing. implementing, managing and monitoring capacity development initiatives in the areas of Communications or Public Relations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with written and oral fluency in Bahasa Indonesian and English.
• Experience in procuring and managing Indonesian and foreign consultants in specialist areas such as communication strategy development, website design and implementation, graphic design, social media campaigning and communications systems development; and
• An ability to interact with policy makers and other stakeholders in a culturally sensitive environment
