PLANT OPERATIONAL SUPERINTENDENT (Job No. 690303)

Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, you will assist TCI Plant to achieve agreed Business Unit targets and objectives through effective management of Plant operational activities at BSF; drive high productivity and efficiency in all Plant support activities; ensure high standard of workmanship at all times; ensure all tasks are effective planned, scheduled and executed according to the plan; ensure accurate quotes are established for all internal and external maintenance activities; ensure all work undertaken is cost effective; ensure plant overheads are managed to agreed budget; ensure business unit safety targets are met for all plant maintenance activities undertaken at BSF; develop specific action plans to address all safety performance shortfalls; actively support safety initiatives and promote safety focus in all maintenance activities; ensure strict compliance with establish plant policies; coordinate-monthly / quarterly supplier meetings and other dealings; ensure plant record are accurate and complete; keep the Plant Ops Manager informed and up to date on all significant operational issues

Requirements:

• Minimum Mechanical Degree, ex- Apprentice or relevant Trade and / or tertiary Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years experience in mining equipment maintenance
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in mining industry
• Understand people management; interpersonal skill and strong leadership
• Good communication both oral and written in English, good organization skill, computer literate, diligent, hard work, and good performance
