Commercial Analyst Location: Jakarta

eni has Exploration & Production activities in Italy and other areas worldwide such as West & North Africa, US, South America, North Sea, Kazakhstan and Asia. In Indonesia, eni participates in twelve PSCs, including nine in Deep Water areas, with an active exploration and development program. With the successful discovery of the operated Jangkrik Field offshore East Kalimantan the Company needs to appoint additional personnel to a dedicated and integrated team charged with the development and marketing of hydrocarbons from the field.

Position requirements

• A University degree in a relevant engineering , economics or geotechnical subject is a pre-requisite, with a minimum of 3 years experience in exploration and production in a commercial and/or business development role within the oil industry. A specific requirement is for previous demonstable experience of involvement in the analysis of gas and LNG marketing and commercial arrangements. The Company is particularly interested to hear from individuals with an established track record of working in an operating environment in complex transportation and processing systems, either in Indonesia or overseas.
• You must be a good communicator with highly effective multi-disciplinary skills and be able to compile, analyse, interpret and present complex technical and commercial information both internally and externally to JV partners and the Indonesian authorities. Good technical and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate your results are required. Fluency in English as well as Bahasa Indonesia is mandatory for the position.

Position responsibilities
Your role will primarily comprise providing support within a small commercial team by the analysis of technical and market data utilising a range of business software. You will be responsible for the production of accurate reports position assessments allowing commercial decision making within eni and Jangkrik joint venture. You will report to the Commercial Manager and will liaise directly with other team members.
