The European Commission and the Royal Government of the Netherlands have jointly established the Basic Education Capacity Trust Fund (BEC-TF) with the purpose of supporting GOI in improving the delivery of decentralized basic education. It is also intended to lay the ground and conditions to be met for a major sector-wide investment program. These goals will be achieved through targeted analytical work, thematic dialogue In education between the Government of Indonesia (GOI) and donors, and capacity development and strengthening of systems for planning, budgeting, financial management, M&E, and human resource management. To achieve this goal, The World Bank Office in Jakarta is recruiting a person to fill the post of:

Financial Management Consultant - Education (ET Consultant)

The applicant should possess the following characteristics:

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Financial Management or Accounting;
• A minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience, including education sector experience and practical development cooperation experience in Indonesia;
• A good understanding of financial controls
• Familiarity with government accounting systems
• Proven ability to resolve issues and problems with the Government and maintain a trusting relationship
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
