Lowongan Kerja FINANCIAL ANALYST, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Our client, a zinc project in North Sumatera, is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following roles:

General qualifications for all positions, candidate;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Indonesian, in order to be able to liaise with internal and external Contacts at both national and international level.
  • Is willing to work a fly in / fly out roster of 6 weeks on at work site in North Sumatera followed by 2 weeks off at agreed point of hire, except for positions based in Jakarta who will work standard 5-2 days roster.
  • Manager candidates will need to be high performing leaders, with advanced analytical and problem solving ability and planning skill and with at least five years management level experience in the field.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Reporting to the President Director, the CEO is responsible to assist the President Director in formulating Company's corporate financial strategy and policies to achieve company objectives and evaluating company performance against those objectives.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:
  • Bachelor degree in finance accounting or economics, having a master degree is preferable.
  • Minimum of 15 years work experience in finance and accounting including 5 years in managerial level. Experience in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of budgeting, financial planning, cash management and taxation.
  • Significant experience in or knowledge of accounting, compliance and reporting.


BUSINESS ANALYST (BA)

Reporting to the President Director, the Business Analyst will assist the President Director in designing the business plans for short and long term including various business models, strategic plans, operating analysis, process design and definition.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A Master degree in business management with a bachelor degree in engineering (mining, geology, or other subject) or finance (with exposure in mining company).
  • Business Analyst experience involving business case scenario analysis capability, finance and accounting, project management experiences in resources and mining industry.
  • Minimum 20 years work experience in finance, project management in mining companies and exposure to IT and management activities.


FINANCIAL ANALYST (FA)

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst will manage and contribute to the improvement of financial accounting processes, be involved with the process of assessment of ERP system and potential new implementation, as well as with the building and implementation of corporate systems for a Jakarta head office and minesite.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A Degree in Economics or a related Commercial discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience at developing complex financial models, preferably in a mining industry application.
  • Creativity, analytical and conceptual skills.


PROJECT COST CONTROLLER (PPC)
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Project Cost Controller will manage the cost control function and cost management processes for the project including reporting requirements.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Attained qualification in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Solid background experience in project cost controller and accounting
  • Relevant project/construction experience.
  • Intermediate experience in the use of the MS Office.


SUPPLY AND CONTRACT SUPERINTENDENT (SCS)

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Supply and Contract Superintendent will plan and organize the transfer of goods, materials and services from suppliers to the Company, by making sure that the process is done effectively, on time and cost effective.  Also to ensure the Company interest is protected in respect of contract administration activities in compliance with the company procedures and policies, terms and condition of individual contracts of all the supply related activities.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Having a bachelor degree is a must, and a master degree is preferable.
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in supply chain management and contract administration.
  • Strong logistics/compliance knowledge and good understanding of industry best practice.
  • Excellent knowledge of customs laws and concepts , applicable Indonesian laws and regulations to contract administration related to mining industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interface seamlessly with all levels of management
  • Sound knowledge of ERP and procurement systems.

 
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY MANAGER (OHSSM)

Reporting to the president Director, the OHSS Manager will formulate and then implement and manage the OHSS policies and procedures for the development, operation and eventual closure of the Company's mining operation.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Relevant OHSS training and qualifications including a degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years preferably is years work experience, with some in remote mining area, and a proven track record in a broad range of OHSS management activities.
  • Minimum possess POM certificate and willing to take POU certificate.


OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY SUPERINTENDENT (OHSS )

Reporting to the OHSS Manager, the OHS Superintendent will formulate and then implement and manage the OH&S policies and procedures for the development, construction, operation and eventual closure of the Company's mining operation.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Relevant OH&S training and qualifications including a degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years preferably 10 years work experience, with some in remote mining areas, and a proven track record in a broad range of OH&S management activities.
  • High exposure in construction process
  • Minimum posses POM certificate and willing to take POU certificate.


OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE SUPERINTENDENT (OHIHS)

Reporting to the OHSS Manager, the OH-IH Superintendent will formulate, implement and manage the OH-IH policies and procedures for the development, operation and eventual closure of the Company's mining operation.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Relevant OH-IH training and qualifications, including a degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Minimum 8 year preferably 10 years work experience, with some in remote mining areas, and a proven track record in a broad range of OH&IH management activities.
  • Minimum posses an Industrial Hygienist certificate.


HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (HRM)

Reporting to the Head of HR, the Manager Human Resources wilt lead the company's Human Resources Department to achieve strategic and business goals, within time, cost, quality and safety parameters, to contribute to the corporate creed/vision, facilitate business improvements and to satisfy client needs.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in the Humanities and/or Commercial disciplines
  • 15 years of proven track record at executive management levels in the human resources function at both national and international level.
  • Strategic planning and operations management skills to establish and achieve tong term goals as well as meet immediate business performance targets.
  • Sound negotiation and problem solving skills.


RECRUITMENT & HR CUSTOMER SERVICES SUPERINTENDENT (REC)

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Recruitment and HR Customer Services Superintendent will responsible to manage all recruitment activities, provide services to HR customers, and advise HR Manager of the resolution of employee relations issues.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, human resources, technical and/or social sciences.
  • 10-12 years of experience in HR/Recruitment and Employee Relations fields.
  • Effective interpersonal as well as excellent written and oral communication skills to liaise with employee and external organizations.  
  • Strong and effective leadership.
  • Decision making, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills particularly to address issues creatively and innovatively.


EXPLORATION MANAGER (EM)

Reporting to the President Director, the Exploration Manager will develop and oversee a successful exploration programme for the Contract of Work of the company and the surrounding district, to enable efficient and timely evaluation and ranking of the exploration potential of the entire project.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A degree in Geology/Earth Sciences.
  • Minimum 15 years work experience, including extensive experience in mineral exploration and mining geology, preferably including zinc-lead mineralization.
  • A demonstrable understanding of QAQC and EHS standards and procedures.
  • Expertise in modern exploration technologies and methodologies in wet tropical environments.
  • A sound working knowledge of mining/exploration software and database systems.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and maintenance of professional registration.


CORPORAT SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MANAGER (CSRM)

Reporting to the President Director, the CSR Manager will lead and direct the Company's CSR functions to achieve strategic, business goals, within time, cost, quality and safety parameters, contribute to the corporate creed/vision and facilitate business improvements as well as satisfy stakeholders' needs.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A degree at S1 level or equivalent in an appropriate management discipline, or equivalent training and experience with preferably a relevant S2 qualification.
  • Minimum 15 years work, experience, preferably with some in remote mining areas, in a broad range of CSR management activities.
  • Financial skills to handle project and budget responsibilities.


COMMUNICATION SUPERINTENDENT (CS)

Reporting to the CSR Manager, the Communication Superintend will be responsible to communicate key messages to all stakeholders, including media, to establish a positive acceptance of the Company through effective media relations and other communication channels.

The candidate should possess the fallowing key criteria:

  • A bachelor degree in communication or social science.
  • 10-12 years of i work experience in communication field.
  • Ability to relate to and communicate individuals and groups from a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage as part of a team.
  • Experience with the diplomatic management of local government leaders and systems


MINE SURVEY SUPERINTENDENT (MSS)

Reporting to the Mining Manager, the Mine Survey Superintendent will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of site survey standards, survey operating procedures, controls, training needs and programs, preparation of monthly reports, and ensuring all survey work complies with the requirements of the applicable Indonesian regulations and company standard.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A Bachelor degree in Survey, Geodetic, or other generally recognized field of engineering cir survey from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years of surveying experience, 5 years of which includes underground survey and 2 years included in senior underground surveying experience.
  • Only those persons in possession of a surveyor certificate recognized by the Chief Mine Inspector shall be appointed as a Mine Surveyor.
  • Demonstrate expertise with advanced surveying equipment TPS, and GP$, CMS.
  • Advanced computer skills in one of the major mining software.


MINE PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT (MPROS)

Reporting to the Mining Manager, the Mine Production Superintendent will involve in managing the underground mine contractors and subcontractors.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, 5 years of which includes demonstrated ability to lead a Mine Production team while achieving production targets in hard rock underground metallic mines.
  • Experience in starting up underground mines.
  • Emphasis on safety awareness
  • Optimisation of daily operations
  • Previous exposure to poly-metallic underground mining.
  • Understanding of contract laws and demonstrated experience in managing mining contractors.


MINE PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT (MPLANS)

Reporting to the Mining Manager, the Mine Planning Superintendent provides planning, direction and management of specific tasks rerated to mine planning work associated with development of reserves to JORC standard, mine planning support to production team, through to final reconciliation of ore reserves at the project.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A tertiary degree in Mining.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, 5 years of which includes underground mining, and minimum 2 years in a senior position.
  • Advanced computer skills in one of the major mining software, Micromine, Datamine, Vulcan or Surpac.
  • An in-depth understanding of the JORC code
  • An in-depth understanding of cut-off grade calculation for poly-metallic mines and impact to mine planning process.
  • A POU Certificate by the Mines Department or preparedness to obtain National POU competency, and willingness to accept appointment as a Deputy KTT, or act as an Underground Manager when required, are preferred but not essential


MINE GEOLOGY SUPERINTENDENT (MGS)

Reporting to the Mining Manager, the Mine Geology Superintendent provides planning, direction and management of specific tasks related to geology work associated with brownfield exploration, development of resources to JORC standard, geology support to production team, through to final reconciliation of ore reserves and resources at the project.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A tertiary degree in Geology.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant geology experience, 5 years of which includes underground geology, 1 year in exploration and minimum 2 years as a Mine Geology Superintendent.
  • Advanced computer skills in one of the major mining software, Micromine, Datamine, Vulcan or Surpac.
  • An in-depth understanding of JORC code.
  • Knowledge of sampling principles and practices.


GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER (GE)

Reporting to the Mine Planning, Superintendent, the Geotechnical Engineer will provide professional technical support to the Company operation, develops short to medium term plans to ensure safe ground support and the mining targets are met, undertakes project work and troubleshooting as required, and establish and maintain required safety and engineering standards to meet geotechnical requirements.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A tertiary qualification, mining or geological engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years as a geotechnical engineer in underground hard-rock mining.
  • Proficient in numerical madding package such as DIPS, UNWEDGE or similar.
  • Possess relevant computer skills in word processing, mine planning and use of spreadsheets.
  • Competent user of mining software, Micromine, Datamine, Vulcan, Micromine or Surpac.
  • Understanding of the paste fill systems and technology,


PASTE FULL ENGINEER (PFE)

Reporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent, the Paste Fill Engineer provides planning, direction and management of specific tasks related to Mine Backfill system.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A tertiary degree in 'Mining or similar relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, 5 years of which includes underground mining, and minimum 2 years in a senior position.
  • An in-depth understanding of the paste fill systems and technology.
  • Experience in construction and commissioning of a paste fill system.  
  • Experience in operating a paste fill system.


SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER (SME)

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Senior !Mechanical Engineer coordinates and oversees construction, maintenance, and repair activities for fixed and mobile mechanical equipment, also ensures that gas lines, plumbing, fixtures , boilers and other elements are kept in proper working order at all times.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Minimum a bachelor (S1) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8 years post-graduation work experience in design, construction and operation of mechanical equipment in a processing plant and underground mines.
  • A commitment to gain a clear understanding of their responsibilities under the relevant Indonesian Mines Safety & Inspection Acts and Regulations.


SENIOR METALLURGIST (SM)

Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Senior Metallurgist provides planning, direction and management of specific tasks related to metallurgical and ore processing work associated with project definition, design and operating techniques and methods.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • A degree in Minerals Processing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy.
  • A minimum of 8 years post graduation and demonstrated experience in base metals processing and tertiery studies within a Process/Metallurgical discipline.
  • Experience in study and/or project management and business evaluation is highly desirable.
  • Significant operational experience in base metal mineral processing plants.
  • Must have process design experience ie, P & ID and PFD


SECRETARY (Jakarta based) (SEC)

Reporting to the Mining Manager, the Mining Secretary provide secretarial support and performs other tasks for mining department and associate staff as required, including filing, arrange meetings, assist in preparing and reviewing Contracts and Tenders, translate documents from Bahasa Indonesia to English and vice versa, handle travel and compile progress reporting and assignments.

The candidate should possess the following key criteria:

  • Degree from a secretarial college or S1 in any discipline.
  • Minimal 3 years of experience in secretarial work.
  • Proficient in both English language and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoi nt, etc).
  • Able to work individually and in team.
